guess I need more and bigger boosters" variety, but I see people on here posting things like "well I calculated my Δv to be 4800m/s so I left 10% of fuel out of the tanks, burned prograde for exactly 6.4 seconds when I reached right ascension 5 55'10" and declination 724.246' which I had planned for exactly 43.78 hours after launch and this put me on Duna within 20m of my chosen landing spot with exactly 1% fuel remaining." Like. Most of my solutions are guess and check of the "I didn't go to space today. How do I get better? Where do I go from here? What do I need to learn, and where do I learn it? I've been playing off and on for about a year, more off than on, and I have been getting better at it - I can land small craft on the Mun and return, put scientific probes on Minmus and orbit them around Kerbol and Eve, I can dock objects as long as they go up on the same booster, and with some research into how real aircraft design leverages COL vs COM I managed to learn how to make stable aircraft and am working on building a spaceplane (hopefully SSTO but fuel is an issue) that can survive reentry.
